Based in New Zealand, Sean exhibits and records both locally and internationally ... Sean says:

abyssos is an attempt to create patterned immersive music around the idea of the deep ocean (though note, there are no "ocean" field recordings in the album, nor any whale sounds - all just the idea of the ocean). abyssos should be listened to at a low volume in a quiet darkened room, though perhaps it also works well as the background to a busy dinner party. Ambient drones and background washes work to evoke your senses.
