Album Notes

Verbal Sideshow is a New York Based Band mixing elements of Hip Hop and Rock to create a very unique sound. Verbal(Ryan) and Sideshow(Bryan) were approached by a Queens based production company in 2006 by the name of LunchBox Beats to create an album. CEO and producer Keith Campbell of LunchBox Beats recorded Verbal Sideshow in his basement studio for about 3 months with assitance from his partners President of LBB Paul Nameck and Sune aka The Jerm. Halfway through this project we asked Professor P(Sideshow's Twin brother) to do some additional production with the aid of his guitar and bass. Verbal Sideshow then went on to perform These Three Words live as a Band playing venues such as The Bitter End and Webster Hall. They also took first place in the Long Island Music Festival and second at Emergenza.

This type of album is what is missing in music these days. Of course, maybe that's one reason it makes real music so special. Anyway... "Hear Me Now" I heard on myspace, listened to repeatedly, and pretty much bought the album for just that one song. That said... the rest of the album is pretty good too. Some great and some decent content and topics. Good rhymes and wordplay. Nice vocals from Sideshow. Good beats. I may not agree with every single thing said on the album (though I do agree with a lot of it), but I can tell there is honesty and sincerity in the lyrics... who can't appreciate that (well... I guess record companies and MTV). Bottom line... you won't be disappointed with purchase.

From start to finish this album is amazing!! Verbal's lyrics tell stories about real life, it's not just a bunch of words that rhyme thrown together to sell a record! Sideshow's vocals are soothing to the soul! There are a few big name groups out there already making a killing on similar styles, but in my opinion they pale miserably in comparison! Together Verbal Sideshow has that rare perfect musical chemistry that is destined for greatness!

A stellar radio-friendly breath of fresh air Hip Hop from New York.

These Three Words is one of those rare debuts that you actually want to listen to from start to finish. Verbal rhymes from the heart. His truth and sincerity on tracks like Hear Me Now and Between These Lines are reminiscent of Tupac Shakur. Sideshow's melodic vocals simultaneously balance and enhance the raw energy that Verbal brings to his verses. Their music is melodic and grounded in a Hip Hop reality not of Bling but of hope, struggle, and the search for answers to life's basic questions. The beats constructed by LunchBox Beats fused with the live guitar feel guarantee a widespread radio future for this New York City Hip Hop Group.
