This self-titled debut by Verdego is a twelve song instrumental CD collection of ambient, techno-electric, and drum n’ break tracks.
Influence echoes throughout this modern mix. ‘Electrician’ drafts the soul of the ultimate electrician Gary Numan and the likes of Paul Van Dyk. The track ‘Entropic’ is a direct hit on L.T.J’s Logical Progression and the synthesizer on ‘Grandview’ is purely Ultravoxian. The music of Verdego is on cruise-control with varying speed limits.

It all happens in the House of Green.
Breaks on ‘Entropic’, ‘Grandview’, and ‘Deluxe’ were created by Paul Grogan courtesy of Rampant Records.

Jeff, your CD arrived today. And.... I must say, I was impressed. It kicks ass man!
Overall, I was impressed by the diversity. It's tough to make 12 instrumental songs sound different from one another. That in itself is a huge accomplishment.
Anima: sounded like a movie soundtrack or intro... that's a compliment. Great way to start the cd.
Electrician: Hints of Gary Numan. The strings and patterns reminded me of it. Good stuff. Nice contrast from previous intro cut.
Ghostdance: I liked your contrast in the mix. This cut had heavy underlying bass. High energy, driving.
Delatarde: Interesting swing pattern on the drums. This one stood out to me. Sounds unlike stuff I have heard before. UNIQUE!
Starlite: Nice fade-in ambient. Good placement too. Allows the listener to catch their breath after prior intensity.
Entropic: High energy, picking up the pace.
Tomahawk: Psychological thriller. Nice path to the unconcious.
Sacred Pipe: You created tension in the verse and then, WALLLAHHH.... you nail the chourus with a breath of fresh air. Your choice of chordal progression was super kool. Another standout.
Buzz: Good contrast cut from previous track.
Sleep Wake: Nice use of guitar overlay. The chordal changes also standout. And, guess what??? They rock! Nice work here.
Deluxe: A nice way to end the cd. I definitely hear the difference in approach in the mix and the actual playing.
