Album Notes

My mom was a church organist. Even before I was born, I passed my nine months in the womb keeping time to \"A Mighty Fortress is Our God\" as she kicked the peddles of an old Hammond B3. Music was a family activity - my mom and all my siblings are gifted musicians. I started piano at six, but that didn\'t interest me much. At age 7, I constructed a drum set out of cardboard boxes and old milk cans and pretended I was Ringo Starr. For over forty years, drumming has been a part of my life. About ten years ago, I began playing guitar to accompany chants and songs for sacred services. I started to take guitar playing more seriously, took lessons from the late, great, George Zamorano, and began writing more and more songs.

My musical experience includes small jazz combos and big bands, orchestral work, musical theatre orchestras, pop and rock band, and a three-year stint as the Music Director of a New Thought Church.

I enjoyed Pages of Time.  It is reflective, sweet, airy, and spiritual.  It combines folk, celtic, and gentle jazz sounds.  I especially appreciated: Namaste, The Last Word, and Home Once Again.  Great writing, musicianship, and accompaniment.  Kudos!

Spiritually thoughtful lyrics and sophisticated music

Written from the heart, Pages of Time is seriously well-crafted and enjoyable. It is an honest, soulful mix of both devotional music and folk songs. Some songs have their roots in American/Irish folk music while others have a more modern style and are very catchy. It is an extremely well put together collection of music.
