Album Notes

Chad Vermillion is a brilliant and inspired musician whose passion for the classical guitar knows no bounds. Having studied for over 19 years under such masters as Kenneth Puls, dean of music at Florida State University, and world-renowned guitarist Oscar Valdez, a Bolivian who has performed all over North and South America, Chad is an extremely well-rounded virtuoso in Spanish, South American, and other popular guitar styles. Chad has performed for audiences all over Texas and Virginia, including sell-out performances at the Charles W. Eisemann symphony center with the world-renowned Vocal Majority.

Unlike most classical guitar albums, this one does not center on a specific genre of music. The guitar styles include Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Celtic, and Pop. These are pieces that have made the classical guitar what it is today in the modern music world. Songs like Asturias will send thoughts back to medieval Spain, while others like the Cavatina will calm your spirit and leave you reminiscing about green meadows and blue skies. Whether you are in the mood for a Spanish Tango, Baroque fugue, Venezuelan waltz, Celtic hoedown, or 60’s rock song, this album is for you!
