ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Veronica\'s Toy is a 4-piece rock band based in Los Angeles. Their style is a combination of modern rock/pop with a classic rock influence. The band was formed in 1996 when keyboard player Art Niemann met lead singer Tony Gerace who was performing in a top LA cover band called Rocking Horse. They built their own recording studio in Burbank, CA where they record to this day. As of summer 2008, the band is working on their third album.

Tony Gerace – Lead vocals/lead guitar. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Tony Gerace started his professional musical career at the age of 16, taking a serious interest in lead vocals and guitar. While in the popular Buffalo band The Beez, Tony wrote and released a single called \"Me and My Girl\" which sold several thousand copies throughout the East Coast prompting his band to receive a Buffalo Music Award for \"Most Original Rock Band.\" Tony then went on to open for such national bands as John Cougar Mellencamp, Judas Priest, Ambrosia, Rick Derringer, Badfinger and Grass Roots. After establishing himself throughout the East Coast, Tony relocated to Los Angeles where he provided lead vocals and harmonies on the title track of a feature film. He also fronted the LA band Rocking Horse.

Art Niemann – keyboards/guitars/vocals. Born and raised in Boston, Art Niemann taught himself piano at the age of five. He moved to Los Angeles in 1987 to pursue the business side of music. A lucky break landed him a job as an assistant to a high-level music executive. Through that position he worked on the music business side with such artists as The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Queen, Pearl Jam, and Chicago, as well as numerous top-level record producers. Returning to the music side in 1996, he teamed up with band mate Tony Gerace to form Veronica\'s Toy.

Bill Sotelo – bass/vocals. Bill hails from Los Angeles and at the early age of 13 was a member of the youngest band ever to appear on Elliot Mintz\'s (music critic, confidant to John Lennon) Headshop program in the 1970\'s. He began working in the Los Angeles Music scene and associated with players that went on to work with such bands as the Busboys (Steve Felix), Cock Robin (Anna LaCazio), Missing Persons (Chuck Wild). Bill\'s incredible versatility keeps him in the highest recorded musical circles. He is a veteran of two successful Finland tours with band mate Tony Gerace.

Jack Cook - drums/percussion/vocals. Originally from Chicago, is a Cum Laude graduate of the Berklee School of Music in Boston. He has played with such musical groups as Freeflight, The Grass Roots, Kenny James, The Drifters, The Platters, and The Coasters. He has participated in motion picture soundtracks such as \"The Rap Killer,\" \"Posse,\" and \"His Big Break\". He is also a highly respected session drummer and one of the most sought after drum teachers in the Los Angeles area.
