ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Andre “Versatile” Hunter offers a diverse and obviously versatile style of R&B, and Soul. He was not dubbed Baby Ginuwine for nothing! On one hand his heart-melting songs may inspire you to hold your girl close and give her the attention she so deserves. On the other his upbeat tracks will make you want to grind on the dance-floor and might even inspire some new moves in the bedroom. His name “ Versatile” is pretty much spot on; there is nothing he can not do, Andre Hunter can offer a little for everyone’s liking!

With many tricks up his sleeve it is hard to define Andre “Versatile” Hunter’s artistic virtues and talents in under one sentence. His positive, optimistic energy and never ending drive and determination, has brought him to many unexpected destinations which have proven to be major plus points in building his empire D-lux Entertainment; Andre it seems, is a calculating businessman in the unusal sense of the word businessman, for he is charming, down to earth and- despite his unbelievable ambition- rather calm. With his mind set on climbing to the top in the world of music and its industry, Andre has perfected every step of the ladder by educating himself about every single aspect of the business.

Andre’s childhood saw him embracing a profound relationship with Music. His Mother could have been the next Whitney Houston, remaining modest and happy to sing for family and friends, his father often joined along in deep bass vocals a la Barry White. With a household revolving around music it comes as no surprise to see Andre having taken the musical route.

The real hold and power music had on Andre started really manifesting itself whilst Deejaying at DeVry University. Already he was being dubbed Genuine due to his similarity in Ginuwine’s moves, style and appearances and it was around this time that Andre finally realized music was a hunger he could not still. Andre made his decision to learn absolutely everything there is to know about producing. Not only was he looking to share his voice with the world, he wanted to aid other artists in achieving the exact same. In no time Andre found himself tapping into it all: from producing to graphic design, from songwriting to sound engineering. Andre spent two years studying rather than sleeping with no complaint: “ I love what I do,” and therefore even die hard days and nights of juggling classes, working at a barber shop AND mastering his developing musical career seemed a small price to pay for making his dreams come true.

Soon people found themselves gobsmacked by his abilities and were amazed by his intensity and strive for perfection. People joked about him being so Versatile, the name began to stick. There have been many high points in his career already one of them surely being performing together with Ginuwine and working together with various established artists from the industry. Versatile however remains humble about this. His songs are life to him and based on personal experience or those of people around him; he feels that by expressing the emotions of others and venting their frustration he is somehow verbalizing what might be difficult to say for those in question.
