The Next Wave of Rock N Roll Has Arrived!
Vertigo Blue is a North Jersey based rock band who formed in August of 2002. They are young ,talented, and exciting, and after spending the last year playing clubs in the New York/New Jersey area have released their first album. The self titled CD showcases the band's wide variety of talent from Matt's melodic vocals of "In My Head" to the pounding guitars and drums in "Demons Creeping". Every song has its own unique style. Their music has been described as a fusion of 80's guitar rock and today's modern rock.
Vertigo Blue's high energy live shows are always an event. Their diverse background let's them be very flexible on stage. Howard Stern attended a recent performance and commented on his show "The music was really good; I thought they rocked, I wanted more". Their music has been played numerous times on his radio show.
They have rocked the Jones Beach Theater on Long Island with top acts such as The Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, The Darkness, The Strokes and more. A few of the other featured venues they've played are CBGB's, Kenny's Castaways and The Continental in New York and Double D's, The Whiskey Bar and The Wreck Room in New Jersey.
