Album Notes

I have decided to donate $2.00 from every purchased CD to The Wounded Warrior Project, check out their website. I think it's a worthy cause.

I have been writing music since the late 80s. "Time Will Tell" was my first solo recording. It's an honest and sincere representation of my music. I write about my life experiences and try to include you in the journey. Hopefully You feel as though you are sitting with me in my living room as I sing about my most intimate feelings and experiences.
I think this CD with the gentle guitar and vocals will take you on a very pleasant and relaxing journey. There is no hiding behind any kind of production, it is just me and my guitar.

I've been told by a friend that she plays this CD in the car on the way home from work and it relaxes her. My music has a calming effect, ain't life grand??!!!

This CD was recorded in one afternoon by producer Jay Mark in his home studio. Jay has worked with The Allman Brothers, Madonna and many others.

Lyrics, music and guitar: Valerie Gomes (C) 1998

I have also finished my new CD, "Hold onto the Dream", produced by Brad Craig. This CD is also available.

REVIEWS

perfect late-night music
author: gary kay
I find this a very pleasant and easy going album. It's very easy to listen to and the lyrics are clear and are sung with great depth of feeling. Valerie gently strums the guitar, accompanying herself perfectly. She has a gentle voice on most tracks, but shows a sexier side on "Satisfy You," one of my favourite tracks on the album. Others tracks I like are, "Nothing Stays The Same," "Meaning Of Success," and the title track, "Time will Tell." These three find Valerie in a more relaxed and introspective mood. The whole album is an intimate experience, and great for late night listening. Recommended.

Inspiring, personal, mood-invoking music

Really liked the CD. Felt I got to know the singer personally through her songs. Her voice is melodic and soothing and her lyrics are highly personal, but also universal. I'll look for more from this artist.
