Vibhas is a born musician, whose longing to feel beauty has expressed itself through playing different instruments from his earliest childhood on. He is an accomplished composer and performer who draws on an extensive background in classical music and a love affair with the music of the east. The melting of these genres has culminated in his unique expression as an artist, merging east with west. Vibhas is a multi-instrumentalist who has created a unique style of music. Classical training in Germany in piano and flute, studies in Latin percussion and soprano saxophone, and many years playing Native flutes in India have all been influential in creating the original sound he plays today.

His travels around the world brought him to Sedona, Arizona where he was introduced to the haunting sound of the Navajo Indian flutes. Playing them to a background of Jazz harmonies and Latin rhythms creates a trance-like atmosphere of relaxation and well-being.

His music allows you to feel deeply...soothing the soul and lifting the spirit. Evoking an atmosphere of tenderness and sensitivity, it is excellent for massage or Yoga practice, or simply to slowly unwind and enter into the restful space of your own heart.

Vibhas performs throughout the southwest and has recently completed two hours of background music for "Yoga for Athletes," two DVD's of Yoga instruction. His music has been used for several Hypnotherapy Cd's and heart meditations. He also created a 3-CD set of healing music designed specifically to correspond to the chakra system.
