A handful of years ago, Vibrolux were the "next big thing" to come from Dallas. Core members Kim Pendelton (vocals) and Paul Quigg (guitar) were on the verge of stardom. They were headlining and packing local clubs. They got the almighty major label deal(Polydor) and moved to Los Angeles. Things didn't quite turn out as the band had hoped. The recording undustry had a major shake-up and Vibrolux were released from their deal.
"And so it arrives, later than expected, but worth the wait as so few things ever are." Dallas Observer
Finally now, years later, Vibrolux have released their debut cd. Their music and sound have had time to grow, their sound smoothed but not softened.
"Pendelton has never sounded lovelier or more terrifying: hers is a dangerous whisper of a voice, it's clean and crystalline and it's rough and ragged." Dallas Observer
Covering all territories form art rock to jazz, country to electronic, Vibrolux's songs weave dark and sensual tales. Fans of PJ Harvey, Poritshead, Mazzy Star and Patti Smith will LOVE Vibrolux.
