Album Notes
Started in 2007, Vicinal is a dance-influenced alternative band from Colorado Springs, Colorado. It's sole member is Christopher Jones, an ambitious musician with a strong drive in writing. His music is aimed to be boldly catchy and lyrically soothing. After almost two years of writing and finally recording, he released an eleven song self-titled cd.

This is a great album for fans of Alternative rock and Pop rock. The song writing is very well thought out and put together conveying movement and emotion within the music. Track 1-alone is a monster and has the sound of a radio single staple! No fillers on here great songs from start to finish. Pick up the disc now and become an original fan of Vicinal for this band is destined for the big stage!

If you’re looking for a sing along frenzy. Wanting a laid back album. Something to just jam on a Sunday summer afternoon, then Vicinal is a must buy. I’m not at all disappointed and neither will you. Pick one up for your enjoyment.

In the music industry today, it is difficult to find performing artists who have anything meaningful or exceptional to contribute to today's popular music lexicon. Vicinal is an outstanding debut album, particularly for a solo artist. While many musicians' early work is marked by uncertainty and modesty, Christopher Jones manages to deliver a powerful and secure lineup of songs, each with intelligible lyrics and a specific message of the existential anguish of life. For most artists today, who rely on repitive beats, banal lyrics, or senseless tunes, this is a slap in their pretentious' faces.
