Album Notes

Arty & Vic Pellerano,a product of the 60's. After the Beatles hit the music scene, 1963. We took up guitar & started to compose our own music, being influenced by array of styles. From the Everly Brothers,Beatles to Zeppelin. My brother and I, did the usual thing, in High school, rock bands, garage bands, etc.

My style of music took hold after finding my niche with the kind of voice I have. Songs and ballads that were folky, carried messages and painted the world with words..John Denver's style was a prefect match for me.I am called "The John Denver of North Dakota". in the Fargo N.D.area. I paint the beauty & history of North Dakota, the Northern Plains and the world around us with my words and music.

Being an Graduate Architect, I always felt that reflected
in the design of lines and rhythms, Nature's Architecture (sometimes man's)and Music were always in harmony with
eachother and that we are all connected in someway to that harmony, like "Songs in the Wind".

We back eachother up, depending on the song. Arty writes also , his style is more rock and roll with Beatle/Bee Gee overtones. So we make a good blend of music. Together we have close to 300 songs. Just waiting to be heard. This CD is one facet of Pellerano's style of music. Simple and American cut bragging about North Dakota, the beauty that surrounds us all and the love of life.. songs about Alaska, Montana, Minnesota, etc.

I have been nominated, as a 2005 & 2006 songwriter finalist at the Highway 61 Folk Fest.Mahtowa, MN.(www.festivalbrew.com)looking forward to performing & meeting other songwriters.

I have received the "Friend of the Red River Award" for "Red River Nights", which is the RiverKeepers theme song.. The theme song for Fargo-Moorhead's All American City is "Crossings" and tells the 125 year history of the two cities.

We believe in the Farmers, the backbone of our great Nation & their plight so we have songs we hope to play at Farm Aid someday, titled "Ghost Farms","Scarecrow" & "Against the Wind".

We also wrote 911 tribute songs titled "Eagles Tears" (www.in-forum.com/specials/911)and "New Born Free". we plan to have them on the Paper King #2 album, now being
recorded.

The Paper Kings, our current project & CD, features,Arty and me,combining our talent and songs to create a fresh and unique sound.

Reviews:
"Wild Horses and Dreams" title track: average score 4.37/10

The song is well structured, although the vocal is not the best I've heard,it does work well in this setting. What I heard sounded good in my ears, so I urge you folk/country enthusiasts to check this artist out.

by "CHRISTIAN LOWENSPRUNG" the Consensus

The title of Wild Horses and Dreams is poetic and the guitar
has some pretty elements as well. This music would suit the folk era of the 60s and would work well on the folk festival circuits. The production and recordings is raw and rough and probably suits the rural down home roots crowd that his song may appeal to.

"First Night Show - Grand Forks,ND
author: Dakotawind
I was at the 1st show, at Central High Gym,in Grand Forks. Impressed by the strong lyrics and solid guitar work. The light show accented the music prefectly. I feel, Mr. Pellerano has a natural talent for conveying his images through words. A gifted songwriter.I had a very enjoyable evening. I brought a CD. I wish him the best of luck. An excellent job.

"great listening music and well written songs"
author: North Dakota Association for Family & Community Education
The annunal conference was held at the "Chiefian" in Carrington, ND. 100 members attended, Vic Pellerano was the featured artist for the Luncheon. Some of the comments were: The music was "wonderful", "enjoyable" "nicely written songs", "great listening music". We will surely ask Vic back again in the future. Vic's North Dakota theme really hit home with the members. Some of the songs can easily be thought of as a Theme Song for the State of North Dakota. We are proud having Vic's music promoting the State.

author: fargo park district
The music is real down to earth and projects a sincere connection to nature and family. A pearl of a discovery for this kind of writing, which is not so evident in today's music.
