Founded in 1995 by John Houck (Bass-Vocals) Wayne Russell (Drums-Vocals), and Billy Anderson (Guitar), Victims of Change was an eclectic hard rock band from the Arkla-Tex area. After spending some time forging out their song writing skills, the band put together the material that would later become TOPIC?. The bulk of the material found on TOPIC? was previously recorded at TC Studios in 1996/97.
In late '97 Russell moved to Indiana; Anderson shortly followed. At the beginning of '99, to continue with the band, Houck rejoined the two. Later that year, Ian Harford was added as a second guitarist. The four spent the next year writing and recording. Harford took a ten-month sabbatical to Brazil in 2000, and Anderson decided to leave the band. Arkansas native Eric Sanders replaced Anderson in 2001. Once Harford returned, the band finished recording and released TOPIC? in April 2002

One thing to say about this album. Hell fucking yea the boys have great chemistry on stage preformance, i just sawe them this past weekend and they where awsome!!! I think the drummer is the best around here evan though they are not from Indiana. The bass player can jam like a mother fucking yoda and shit. The guitar oplayer has one of the best sounds and he was a star wars character he would be londo abnd shit.

The first time I heard Victoms of Change I could not believe my ears. Here they are a band in the start and they blew me away. The solos were great, the music was fresh, and the guys really loved what they were doing. Not once did they mess up, or act untouched by what they were playing. You can feel what they say, and know exactly what they mean when they say it. They are damn good!

While all the songs rock, I have my favorites. More Than Friends, Take Me Away, Love is Suicide. Anyone who enjoys kick ass rock music shouldn't miss this cd. Every song on the cd is worth the buying the cd. No rock music collection is complete with out it. The music & lyrics make this one a must buy.
