Stepping out of the sandbox to go to the beach...

Victoria James has had a passion for music since she was a child. From listening to her favorite pop music to relaxing with the classics.

After experiencing success in the New England churches where she played her original songs, Victoria was encouraged to begin a journey outside her local area. One of the projects she began involved working on her debut cd called "Heart of Hope".

God's blessings have included being able to work with professional musicians such as Roy A. Clark (Rick Charette's Bubble Gum Band), John Stuart, and Lake Region's own Gil Donatelli. Mentored by these talents, Victoria has begun work in a more professional arena.

Her debut cd caught the attention of author Kathryn Mackel. Kathryn (Kathy) has worked on book projects and screenplays with Frank Peretti and the writers from The Left Behind Series. She invited Victoria to write a lullaby for her newest release of fiction entitled "The Surrogate", published by WestBow/Thomas Nelson Publishing Co. In stepping out of the sandbox, God only knows where the music will lead Victoria. For now, she enjoys the opportunitues to play and worship with others, sharing a "Heart of Hope" for the days ahead.
