ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My Favorite Word is Today, is an indie folk-pop demo recorded and produced by Grammy-award winning engineer Alfonso Rodenas. The result of a songwriting course with publisher Suzanne Koc, the demo relies on Scott's soaring vocals and bossa-nova-esque guitar riffs to reflect on love, freedom and life, and also features Rodenas on guitar. Pamela Des Barres, author of "I'm with the Band", noted that "the [album's] sentiments touched my heart" and "[Scott's] voice is just gorgeous". Rodenas and Scott regularly perform in Los Angeles as a duo and are planning a motorcycle tour of Spain in 2011 to promote the album, which Scott has described as "simple songs for complicated times".
