Album Notes

Victor McClain, a Los Angeles native, is a mutlti-talented self taught musician.

A 1960s 'baby boomer' generation, Victor grew up listening to jazz, rock & roll, r&b, and classical.

He started playing in top L.A. bands at 17 and later played the L.A. club scene.

Just out of school he started playing in record studios such as 20th century, A&M records and a host of independent labels around the L.A. area.

Loving all music, and playing many instruments, Victor was able to play in many kinds of bands, performing all types of venues.

After a while he started his own record label, and studio, and formed the 'United Rhythm & Groove Exchange'.

'Familiar Faces' his first solo project, was composed and performed by Victor, and is a smooth mixture of jazz, latin, pop, and r&b styles.

Music that is sure to relax and soothe your mind, with the sensual sounds of sax, flute, and vocals.
