Album Notes

This album consists of 10 tracks ranging from full on rockers like 'Sweet Marie' and 'On The Otherside' to piano songs 'Everyday' and 'Brighter Day' to even folk rock in 'Stolen'. released in the U.K in December of 2005 on white label. Some heart felt melodies and lyrics, to plain fun songs with hooky choruses - 'Light Of My Eye' captures this element, especially the lyric in the bridge!

If you like rock 'n' roll with a hint of commercial pop then you'll love this. The tracks range from up-tempo rockers through power ballads and some folk-rock all excellently delivered. The band are tight and well balanced and Rich has a great rock voice (and I mean this in a positive way) with traces of Bryan Adams, Steve Earle, and possibly even David Gray in places. A truly enjoyable CD and one that I'll be playing for a long time.

Vida are a 4 piece indie/rock band in the U.K, formed in the summer of 2003.

They are :
Rich Lowndes - songs / vocals / guitars / piano
Al Holloway - lead guitars / backing vocals
Bobble - bass guitars
Lee Taylor - drums

Rich has played guitar and piano since he was a kid and was a rock drummer for 6 yrs before deciding to put down his sticks and concentrate on writing. was a finalist on a t.v talent show "Fame Academy" in 2003 and is now working on songs for the next Vida album..

This album is brilliant, it's totally addictive - one you can listen to all the way through, over and over again. There are no "fillers", every track is excellent in its own way. A great mixture of upbeat "rocky" tunes and piano ballads, it suits any mood and really puts a smile on your face! Probably the best CD in my collection at the moment - it's so good I've put it on my iPod!! If you only buy one CD this year make sure it's this one.
