New York City rock quartet Villain's Lament was formed when longtime friends and collaborators Paul Christopher Hoppe (Lead Guitar/Bass/Vocals), Logan Grendel (Lead Vocals, Guitar), and Danny Marquez (Drums) joined forces with Lauren Geber (Lead Vocals, Keyboards) to round out their sound. After a period of songwriting and preparation, the group entered the studio to record their 3-song debut CD, It Won't Rain For You.

Branding their style Thrash Pop, Villain's Lament combines the sensibility and accessibility of mainstream music with the aggressive rhythms and soaring leads of thrash metal. Amidst all the thunder and lightning, the band still finds time for quiet interludes of introspection. The group injects the same drama and dynamics into their live show, providing an experience the audience lives and doesn't just listen to.
