Album Notes

Villanova Junction was formed in 2007. First being hypnotized by such bands as Iggy Pop, the Doors and the Misfits. Now a days the members of the band have become more eclectic in their range of music. The resemblance of bands such as Cream, the Black Keys, Arcade Fire and the Beatles has inspired the bands musical interests to become extremely abundant in terms of their own creativity. They do not wish to be labeled in one genre, but many. More instrumentals, more harmonies, more melodies. Villanova Junction wants to create in the form that keeps the audience involved and interested...always. The members of the band also feel as though there is a connection involved with the audience. Something that you feel is coming from the bands heart and is transformed into something beautiful. It's a sense of awareness, a sense of deep pleasure that fills the mind with satisfaction for audience members. You leave the show knowing that it was indeed a show. Villanova Junction wanted to capture that same essence on their self debut album "11:11" which feature 16 tracks that cover everything from 60's snap mod beats to melodic and dramatic instrumentals. The baritone voice is not too common in the music industry these days and it sure is glad to hear someone who can yelp like they got a pair. The album is definitely a great one to listen to. Single tracks include "Devil is the man", "Drink with the Dead" , "Silence" and "Fractal of Love." Be sure to listen to the full album from start to finish so that you may get that full effect... that essence which permeates from the heart of the band.
