Vincent is a composer and performer of original music for children. His CDs have won multiple national awards, including Parent's Guide to Children's Media Best Audio and Classics Awards, Parents' Choice Honors and Awards, Children's Music Web Award and NAPPA Award. His music is curriculum-based and interactive, as well as entertaining.
Vincent is a self-taught musician. He plays piano, organ, guitar, harmonica and all types of percussion. He was born in western Massachusetts, of Portuguese heritage. He lived in England and New York City, but upstate New York is now his home.
Vincent has four CDs of original music, Vincent and the Big Bad Kitchen Band, Read to Me, Brand New Day and Just One Step. He is currently writing and recording songs for his fifth CD entitled, "Working Together", due in 2004.

You might have seen him at the New York State AEYC, the Delaware Valley AEYC, the Indiana AEYC, the ChicagoMetro AEYC, the Ohio AEYC, the New England AEYC, the Michigan AEYC, the national meeting of NAEYC in Atlanta and New York City, and the National Association of Family Child Care. In 2004 Vincent will present workshops at the ECA of Florida, the California AEYC and the American Montessori Society, in addition to his other venues. Vincent is affiliated with Young Audiences of Rochester, New York.
