ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"A Slice Of Life," by Vin D'Onofrio - guitar and vocals, features great musicians playing his original songs

Musicians: Mike Thompson, Dom Genova, Julie Ragins, Charles Meeks, Ron Krasinski, Rick Shlosser, Bobby Tsukamoto, Marc Joseph

1. Big Head - A blues send-up about someone we've all run into: The Know It All.

2. Who Knows How Low She'll Go? - A funky tale of passion about how she keeps flirting.

3. Everybody Plays Guitar - Rock & Roll filled the world with guitars and guitar players. How you gonna be a star, when everybody plays guitar?

4. Tangled Up In You - You might get lucky enough to get so wrapped up in someone that you can't tell where they start and you end.

5. Summertime - An easy southern groove about that most laid back of seasons. Charles Meeks harmonica adds the soulful sonic breeze.

6. Last Call Girl - Gigging in bars means you spend a lot of time there. Last call can catch you by surprise when you're still looking for that special someone.

7. When I Get Back Home - The world out there can be rough but if you've got a home to return to, you're doin' alright.

I can't get over how the music so indirectly grabs me. I hear distant echos of my past ,that I had long since forgotten. Talent (like this) is forever/

Roc

calming with just enought beat to make you happy
Basics are there but needs a little more sponk...excitement...feeling...some personalization. Acoustics are bare and it needs a couple of more instruments...I'm not sure exactly what...Needs some more punch on the repeat lines/chorus. Take all the songs up three to five notches. Let loose/wail and moun; feel it a little more...

Good music!
This album would appeal to a lot of people. The songs will stick in your head, and the guitar playing is excellent.
