excellent musianship - crisp sound

the quality of this work is excellent. i'm not a jazz afficiondo but i am a retired music teacher and i know a good sound when i hear it. this group works together well and their sound is very crisp. i'd like to see a second volume like this one.

Not just "another" Christmas jazz CD

This is a sleeper with all the quality and performance of the big names and labels...with one exception: these musicians are playing with feeling and up-front spirit. It's smooth jazz, not sloppy jazz that you find so much of these days. This CD is ripe; pick it now for Christmas '06.
