A quartet, consisting of 4 ... electric violins!! Possible? Unusual in terms of sound and the creation of sound as well as extraordinary in the courage of combining composition and improvisation. With electronic processing and innovative playing techniques the violet quartet expands the boundaries of conventional stringed bowed instruments (amongst other things they use chinese chop sticks!). Music from Jimmy Hendrix to whale song!!! At the performance the 4 players stand in different corners, surrounding the audience with quadrophonic spherical grooves.
