REVIEWS

Tight album drenched with melodic hooks
author: Angie "chong" Miller
Kabuki is a very impressive album. The music is tight without sounding overproduced and glossy. With loads of melodic hooks and a tight rhythm section, Violet Skin has managed to bring forth a post-grunge offering so pure it is sure to wet the palate's of even the most jaded listener and music critic. This is a CD that you can put in your stereo without having to skip songs---something which has become rare in the day of "nu-metal" bands and friendly pop-rock offerings.
