BIG PROBLEMS recaptures something essential about punk in its purest form, a mix of the recklessness borne of frustration and the fun that results from thumbing one's nose at the world. While the album could easily be stripped down to seven tracks, those seven tracks are platinum, one might say. The title track on the CD is an incredibly catchy song that flirts with several cliche guitar-god, anthem-like, references to a stadium aesthetic, but it does so in an endearing and original way. The other seven tracks that make this CD more than worth listening to: Werewolf of Love-- God Doesn't Care-- Poor Dead Dana Plato-- Bastard Child of a Drunken Night in Quincy-- Shut Up, You're Drunk-- and Joey Ramone, an homage to the late legend.
