Album Notes

"Influence" is the third release from uniquely talented and versatile New York City based recording artist John Virag. It keeps excellent company with both "Dream Reality" and "Evidence Pending", his previous two CDs, while showing an even greater all-around growth from this artist.

Once again Virag has fully produced and recorded the album in his Sea King Productions studio and played all the supporting instruments. He incorporates guest artist, guitarist Assaf Ben-Nun (solo on “Just Another Day”) for maximum effect.

"Influence" offers John’s musical trademark of expressive and emotionally intense tracks, while dealing with complex yet current issues we all face. He is able to tell a compelling story time and time again through cool rhythms, jazz-driven horn-lines, ground-breaking harmonic chord structures, and an ever-poetic and lyrical vocal style.
