Virgil toured the world with Paul Robi's WORLD FAMOUS PLATTERS. Virgil was also lead singer for 17 years, with the popular California based group, the RIVINGTONS, which sent "Papa Oom Mow Mow" straight to the top of the charts. Virgil appeared with the Drifters, the O'Jays, the Coasters, Bobby Day, Dee Clark and Al Wilson, among others. He received standing ovations when recently appearing with Grand 'Ol Opry legends Ray Price, Bobby Bare, Claude Gray and, Ms. Blue Grass Queen herself, Rhonda Vincent.

Hear Virgil Gibson once again! "Be My Christmas Present" is original music written and produced by Virgil in 1998 but never released until now. This single also has an additional instrumental track. Virgil lived and performed in Europe and recently moved to Nashville. Virgil has always credited his golden voice as a Blessing from God. He performed in Denmark with Etta Cameron, who was knighted by the Queen of Denmark for her introducing American gospel to Scandinavia.
