From the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont comes Viscus. Their music brings together elements of Jazz , Rock, Funk and Soul . Rock solid rhythms , instrumental virtuosity , funk nasty grooves, uplifting lyrics and soulful vocals culminate in an entrancing rock out experience.
Ira Friedman is the alchemist cooking up wild compositions and painting lush landscapes with his vibrant keyboard technique. Micah Carbonneau, whether he’s on the 5 string, fretless , or stand up bass , is always phatt and funky , laying it down solid and slinky . Troy Hubbard get’s your booty shakin’ with some of the tightest and freshest beats on four limbs. The psychedelic baritone sax of Luke La plant grabs you right where you like it while the soulful sultry voice , barbaric guitar and raw harmonica of Derek Campbell tell it like it is.
Viscus appears every Wednesday evening at 7pm at Café Sweet basil in Lyndonville ,Vt. and can be seen performing at various venues and events throughout Vermont and New England.

This CD is great. Songs vary so they don't all sound the same. I love all the songs on it!
