Super effort on this debut cd!
author: Jon L.
When this Cd came out, you could clearly hear the amazing writing capabilities of each of the band members. Their talent was growing quickly and surely the next Cd should be even more polished and amazing. Eventually, after some years, Visionary released 'Strange But Familiar Shores' through Nightmare Records and what a different sound (somewhat more mellow, but mature) and still amazing in it's own right! Sad to see this band is no longer pursuing their craft because of personal individual reasons, as I think they were well on their way to bigger things and were gaining much respect and quite a fan base after their last release. Great Prog metal Cd, recommended!

Good quality prog metal - well worth a listen
author: Stuart Allie
A very good debut effort. Definitely real promise shown here. This album has grown on me over repeated listening and I will be buying their follow-up album. The songs are well written, the musicianship is good. The production is generally good although at times the sound is a little thin. It does sound almost as if the band is holding a little in reserve rather than letting it all out, which is understandable for a debut. I do recommend giving Visionary a listen.
