VISQUEEN's DREAM RIDER:
Kim: "Tecate, chicken pot pies and a car."
VISQUEEN's ULTIMATE GOAL:

rockin' that stays crunchy even in milk
author: ken lawrencefirst heard of this rockin' gang from washington when they hit the road with the muffs and the charms last year and during that time heard em on three cord monty with Joe belock on WFMU the famous free form station in east orange NJ. well if you missed that bunch of dates or if your local rock station don't play this one dont be the last to know and grab this rockin' goody today. it will stay crunchy even in milk. hey it's better then captin crunch, cause this aint sweet sticky stuff. well maybe more like thast song by montrose rock candy, hard sweet and sticky!
Great Turn it up Crank it out Band
author: David PossThis album grabs you by the balls from the first song and slings you for a ride. Not since Juliana Hatfield opened her albums has anyone started out so strong. I love the album through and through. While the music seems to me to draw on music from the past, Visqueen definitely stamps their style and vision onto each track. Great album.
Sugary pop-punk divinity with a sprinkle of attitude!!!
author: Ryan EstepThis CD epitomizes everything I have been looking for in a great pop-punk band. Start to finish one of the best CDs I have ever owned, all the songs rock, and the lyrics are smart and fresh. It captures Visqueen's live energy and vibe even though recorded in the studio. Visqueen for President in 2004!!!
The definition of female fronted, tight, addictive pop punk
author: Matt BarberThis is the very defintion of tight, addictive pop punk. It's pop in that the short songs are amazingly memorable, infectious even. It's punk in that the attack is speedy and intense. King Me is salvation for anyone lamenting the loss of Letters To Cleo. Visqueen does rock harder though. And while LTC records were uneven, this CD is incredible all the way through. Every track will have you singing along, and Rachel Flotard's voice is one of the most powerful, seductive, and moving to be heard in years.

KING ME by VISQUEEN Rocks From Beginning To End
author: WarrenKING ME, the debut by VISQUEEN, is 30 minutes of solid melodic rock. The songs are intelligent and unique, Rachel's vocals are nothing short of stunning, her guitar tone is HEAVY, Kim bass work and vocal harmonies add dimension to each track, and Ben's drum thrashing is perfect. KING ME is for you if you like rock and roll - period.
