Album Notes

My parents introduced the family to the joys of music at an early age. Being one of ten musically inclined siblings has allowed me to develop a diverse interest in a wide variety of styles, rhythms and genres. Yet none has appeared to be so pleasing to listen and dance to than the good old sounds of the Big Band. Influenced by the family tastes and our never-ending music festivals, there was one style that took me to a different place. These original arrangements by Auggie Mendoza, aka "The Aug", bring out vocals in me that one can only discover by crooning these great standards of the era. The result is a collection of selected tunes that I hope will lift your spirits and help you reminisce on some exciting memories and enable you to create some new ones.
