Inspired by a night on the town in Montreal and by sex-rock acts Goldfrapp, Diplo, Peaches, Prince and PJ Harvey, Vivek Shraya\'s fourth release, If We\'re Not Talking, was masterfully produced by L.A.-based Meghan Toohey and features a guest performance by Sara Quin of Tegan and Sara.

His previous effort, A Composite of Straight Lines, was named the #5 record of 2005 by Soul Shine Magazine, and its single, \"Logic Vs.,\" was the winner of We Are Listening\'s 2005 International Singer/Songwriter Awards.

A 2002 Northern Alberta Singer/Songwriter Competition finalist, Vivek has showcased at music festivals (notably NXNE and CMW) and has appeared across North America with Tegan and Sara, Melissa Ferrick, Brian Byrne and Greg MacPherson.
