Progressive rock band Vivid Glimpse was formed in 2009 by brothers Andy and Richard Vellacott. Featuring Andy on lead vocals, drums and percussion and Richard on synths, guitar and backing vocals, "Looking From The Outside In" is Vivid Glimpse's second album, following on from their successful debut album "Into The Precipice..."
The band has enjoyed critical acclaim all over the world and is generating a cult following from fans of progressive rock. Andy explains "it's a real buzz when you hear your songs played on the radio, and extremely gratifying when new fans enjoy our music!"
Vivid Glimpse's second album features the dramatic three part epic "In The Frame" - a Dantesque tale of hell, purgatory and heaven. The album closer is "And So It Ends", a powerful ballad with a spine tingling instrumental. In between, the band shows their softer side with the ballad "Don't Leave Me Alone Tonight".
“We’re incredibly proud of our work on this album,” says Richard, “and hope that other people enjoy listening to it as much as we did writing it!” “We are really excited about the future for our music – we’ve a lot of great ideas just waiting to come to life,” adds Andy.
