Producer V’land has stamped his indelible imprint on the music scene since the late 1990s. His production has helped create career-defining hits for secular and gospel artists such as Chingy, Praiz’, gospel rapper Thi’sl and Louie Tunes, among many others.

Released digitally June 1st, 2008 is his 1st compilation album, V’land Presents The Vault (Parking Lot Praiz’ Beats, LLC). This disc follows his producing of the all of the tracks, including the #1 “Deliver Me,” on gospel artist Praiz’ #1 charting, The Take Over, which gained the team national radio airplay and media attention, reaching millions of listeners, on both christian and urban radio airwaves.
The Vault is filled with Chirst centered lyrics on top of various unique V’land laced tracks. As a U.K. based Gospel DJ. I always keep up to date with all the well known artist. I then go on the look for independent CDs. This is one of the best I’ve come across in the RnB genre. I love the fact that it has several up tempo tracks that I can use when people are getting their praize on when I DJ.

About V’land:
Born Vance L. Watt in Gary, Indian, V’land, so named by St. Louis rap trio Louie Tunes, has had many reincarnations--from Brother Vance and Praiz’ to front man of the R&B group By Request; an urban ensemble including producer Maurice Wilson member of Beatstaz production (who’s credits include Jibbs and Chingy), to being CEO of his own production company, Parking Lot Praiz’ Beats, LLC.
The hit single “Deliver Me”, by Praiz’, and debut LP The Take Over, produced by V’land, introduced a unique writing, vocal and rhythmic style gospel, R&B and hip hop mixed with an eclectic smorgasbord of effects held together by melodic vocals and Midwest-westcoast-eastcoast blended beats. At the same time, his partnership with, St. Louis maestro, friend Dywanne Harris blossomed into a pairing that delivered multiple hits for upcoming gospel artists from Christian rap, contemporary gospel and Christian pop; to traditional gospel. Including Gloria Hulsey’s LP How I Got Over… Tribute to Mahalia Jackson released June 2008, leading them duo to become one of music’s most successful production/songwriting teams.
V’land’s trademark sound has spawned numerous imitators. Several national and underground, both secular and gospel, artists and producers have “borrowed” from his production, vocal and writing creativity.
Not surprisingly given his talents, In 1998 he started a independent label, Jericho Records, in partnership with Darren Mack Sr. and delivered six albums for various St. Louis based christian artists, each reaching notable success online and in the streets, including 2003’s More Than Conquerors Compilation.
Along the way he built two private studio’s and two successful studio’s in St. Louis and recently launch a new studio in Tallahasse, Florida where he leads worship at CenterPoint Church, where he does most of his current production, and he regularly travels between that location, his St. Louis headquarters with Dywanne Harris.
Open to all types of artists, in 2008 V’land plans to debuted with a bang: V’land Presents..The Vault, and P.R.I.D.E. LP by Praiz featuring the hit singles I Choose Life and We Shall Overcome are the 1st projects to suface and will be followed by several undisclosed full length projects, including the highly anticipated sophmore release by Praiz’.
V’land’s genre breaking has changed popular music today, and he takes no credit in his success at staying ahead of the curve with his originality and experimentation. Humble and charismatic, his goal is still to provide the listener’s with timeless Christ centered music.
