How much I love this CD!!! Eclectic, risky, exciting, unusual, brilliant! Sometimes I find Canadian jazz to be too much of the same...with maybe just a little twist...and here come Veronica McNamee with her crazy, powerful, sweet voice combined with the artistry of great musicians to remind us that jazz is "not the result of choosing a tune, but an ideal that is created first in the mind, inspired by ones passion and willed next in playing music.
