V'nessa Tzavellas describes her debut effort as an eclectic collection of pop. A funky blend of rock, hip-hop/r&b, dub & reggae, laced with Latin & Eastern overtones that represent her background, this 6 song set is definitely not your middle of the road pop music.....but do expect the urge to sing along.

Celebrity Cafe Review

V'nessa Tzavellas offers a refreshingly different EP... urban /rock, but where it delightfully departs is into Latin and Eastern modalities and that's where the real magic begins. Tzavellas' passionate pipes turn up the heat, as she can certainly wrap herself around any melody. There's an inherent hip-hop sensibility to her phrasing that is both clever and contemporary...Her lush thick voice, and slow vibrato rock "Afterglow".. voice really cuts loose in "Beautiful Things," as it crosses the line between really good and potential hit. The surefire "Flashes" has an underlying heat, "Controlled" deeply grooves while she asserts her independence.
The striking, streetwise Tzavellas' hits the mark on this one, we can't wait to see where she goes next.
