Album Notes

A goal of this ensemble is to present music composed by Americans in the past fifty years. With this recording, we offer some of the many moments from our tenth season that we shared music with our audience that was "made in America." We are especially pleased to bring you a composition by Voces novae member Anne Campbell.

"Recollections" is Voces Novae's way of saying thank you to all of you who attend our concerts, contribute to our success through gifts and service, support this "live" recording series and share the experience of who we are. Although it is only a reflection of actual performances, we hope that you will find yourself sitting on the front row as we sing, creating that special connection between you and the choir.

We believe that the few incidental noises will not stand in your way of discovering the joy and excitement we experience in concert. Our goal is that as you listen, you will be refreshed, revived and enriched through this gift of song.
