Album Notes

I was born in 1948 on Long Island, New York. I got my first electric guitar for Christmas 1954. I started writing songs in 1970 while in the army and stationed in northern Thailand. I have been fortunate to have collaborated with some talented songwriters: Vince Stromboli, Jim Dorr, Lester Spittel, Bob Bearden, Gary Orem and Keith Jones.

"Comin' Home" is special because it is my first solo project. Writing and producing the songs was a joy as was adding "How Long Have You Been There" for a cover. I'm looking forward to writing and recording with Kelly Hurely, a talented singer/songwriter from Saratoga, New York. I am able to offer my services as a musician, singer, songwriter, producer and publisher.Distributors and retailers are welcome at maryvogelsang@comcast.net

You can get to know me more when you listen to "Comin' Home"! Thanks again to Bill, Sue, Tommy, Glenn, Jim, Les, Damon, Jason and Mary.
I listened to all the samples on Eddie's CD on the net, and I liked it a lot. I liked his songs, and he has a nice voice. My favorite was "How long have you been there?", but what is a "cover"? Does that mean he did not write that one? I was wondering if Eddie would autograph a CD for my friend Diane. I LIKED the CD A LOT; she would LOVE it; it is just her kind of music, and I'd like to give it to her---her life has not been so great the past year. (She's the one whose 40-year-old son got hooked on heroin and she paid money she could not afford to put him through rehab and he has been out about 6 months and is back on heroin. Makes some of my problems seem not so bad.) I'll pay you Sunday.
