Album Notes
Voicebox is a Holy Hip hop poet that seeks to restore the streets with the gospel of Christ.Voicebox wrote his first rap when he was eight and his first poem when he was 14 and the rest, as they say, is history; He has been spitting lyrics ever since. He started rapping for the KING in 2000 and it has been a journey like none other! GOD has been beyond awesome through it all. He ministered with the Kansas City based Holy Hip Hop team, F.B.I. (Formed By Inspiration) from 2000 to 2003. He has been flying solo since 2003 doing poetry and hip-hop. Voicebox released a Spoken Word CD entitled "He Is" in 2005. Voiebox has shared the stage with Mary Mary, Crossmovement, Lecrae, Tedashi, Canton Jones, Verbs, Grits, and J Moss. Voicebox's new album recently hit stores on February 9, 2007. The project is entitled "Privilege and Honor".

Hott Jesus Music
Yo VoiceBox Cd is Bangin. Hot beats, Hot lyrics, just hot. "Comic Book Jesus" , "I Am Not", "The Oven", Just to name a few of the Hot tracks. All you need to know is.....Christ: He's Kinda A Big Deal.lol

I'm proud of you bro. I told you I finally got to listen to the entire thing when I had some free time and I was impressed. As a fan, I thought you had an amazing presence on the entire album. Very passionate lyrics on a few songs. I've been waiting on something like this from you.The interludes were so funny man ( is she still single? LOL!) As an artist. I thought you did a great job choosing your production team. Your final master was great and your beats were DOPE. I thought you had some good lines, but some of the punches didn't carry as much weight as others. The hooks could've been more solid as far as the sound. But don't get it twisted, the message in the hooks were great. Overall the package is amazing and I know that the best is yet to come.

a devine flow
24-hour cypha....early, and well received by hip hop heads riding in my old buick. so what more can i say about the christ-inspired, lyrical acrobatics of the voicebox? nothing. he's done it....this album will make the most uptight christian (and a lot of others) become spiritual bobble-heads as soon as they hear the horns on the opening track. move over jay & 50, god's dropping dimes through b-to-the-izzo-x.
the only thing i'd like to see or hear is a collabo with truth, or maybe keke sheard. trust me, he's ready to let god's light shine with the likes of truth & sheard. o'yeah, gospel super-producers shep crawford & warren cambell would be smart to find this guy. early. god bless.

music with a message
I was skeptical at first and just supporting local artists doing their things for Christ. I was pleasantly pleased with the content and found I couldn't help bobbing my head to the beat. I was even more impressed with the powerful message that was delivered. This c.d. has become a staple in my car.

A must have.
I got the CD because I consider Voicebox a brother. Sometimes you do things to support one another, but I was very pleased with the album. It is heat, and it is now in regular rotation with my 116 Clique, Ambassador, and LeCrae CD's. I am not...but I know I AM...

This cd is tangible evidence that Holy Hip-Hop is here to stay! The tracks on this album are banging! Voicebox is definately one of the hottest up and coming Holy Hip-Hop artist.

Devin Blakely

This album is crammed packed with hot lyrics and even hotter beats!!!!

Neka, Inc.

This CD is awesome with a capital AWE!!! and then some!!! One of the many things I really enjoy about this album is the mixture of sounds...little EastCoast, little MidWest, and the blend of the sounds of other Kansas City Hip-Hop artists. While doing all of this, the album stays true to its mission...proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ! Its a privalege and honor to have witnessed such an artist at work.

He's truly blessed and highly favored!
This is definitely the best Holy Hip Hop album I've heard in a long time! Listening to this album, you can definitely hear Voicebox's love for Christ! The tracks are hot, the beats are hot, the lyrics...MAN! A true lyricist! The title track is my personal favorite! I feel like in this track he definitely illustrates how much of a Privilege & Honor (number 4) it is to serve our Lord, Jesus Christ. The Oven (number 8) is definitely a testimony more than a few people can relate to. He tells you what's he's overcome in his childhood to become the man that he is today and lets you know that God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called. Definitely a track that tells a life story that everyone needs to hear and can relate to on some level. Comic Book Jesus...the title alone lets you know he's a poet and this poem definitely does The King justice (I'm in the Justice League with God, because we share rebels.) He's too talented, blessed and favored for you to sleep on him. He's definitely reppin' Christ the way He intended! He brings it on every track...there is no need to skip any song on this album; the whole thing is hot! This is definitely his best work to date but I know he's only going to get better with time! If you don't have it, you're missing out and you're going to get left behind. Voicebox Productions is a constantly progressing movement and Voicebox himself is the force behind the movement. Don't miss the boat on this one, you will definitely regret it! Mark my words.
