Ascension has no limitation
And falling could be endless
You cannot fix a life
As it is always moving
“Evolution” stirs the soul from the very first chords. You move along with Voide’s dynamic music and you cannot tear yourself away from his expressive and powerful project. The artist creates clear futuristic images by his electronic music. Odd rushed to the sky megapolises appear in front of your face. You feel yourself sometime in the future and you see how many visible changes it brought. But your deep inner self remains unchanged. And you feel confident and well-grounded in this unknown fantastic world.
The album “Evolution” is reminiscent of famous Berlin school. It has a strong flavor of classical electronic music. In my opinion the most captivating tracks on “Evolution” are “Supercharge” and “Dream Machine”. But the entire CD makes a good impression and you will undoubtedly want to listen to this pulsing Voide’s music time and again. I would characterize it as music for outward and inner moving.

There is A LOT of electronic music out there right now. What makes Voide different is that his music comes from a personal concept of men, machines and the relationship between them. You can tell what he's been listening to over the years, but instead of copying his idols, he has brought their music up to date by respecting the same concept they had.
To repeat Kent Lofgren's analysis - best electronica album of this year?
(Hoping you'll pardon the pun in the title, but somebody had to do it!)

Once again, the Swedish master musician Voide has blessed us with a complete album. The content is just perfect for easy listening (I have a copy of the CD in my car) or a more focused analysis of contemporary music that is true to its roots (listening to the new Voide CD with headphones is strongly recommended for an awesome experience). Best electronica album in 2008?
