Carousel is a wonderful exploration of fingerstyle guitar duets and solos by this Colorado-based duo. Phil Volan and Joleen Bell interweave melodies and harmonies that honor the natural sonic beauty of fine acoustic guitars. The duo began in 2003 with a mutual love of acoustic music, and a rich musical past. In 2002, Phil earned 2nd place at the prestigious National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship in Winfield, Kansas.
