Album Notes

Volatile Blue is a progressive rock band who's members are natives of Cleveland, OH. Compared to the likes of Fuel, Default, and Finch, Volatile Blue is an intentional hybrid of spicy bluntnose melodic alternative rock. Their music wreaks with phat ethereal grooves, poignant overtones of passionate intent, and each concert comes with an optimistic moment of reckless freedom that will hang you from your Mondays.

Since 1999, VB has played venues locally, nationally, and even Brazil, where they played several times on television during an MTV sponsored surf competition in Recife. Locally they have headlined Akron's RIOT on the River, and nationally played festivals in Texas, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. They were chosen out of 300 bands to be 1 of 5 finalists in the NACAS showcase in Nashville, TN. They are now recording their next full length recording in Cleveland, while booking university venues regionally.
