"Great compositions that range from beautiful, poignant, and soulful to driving and passionate filled with tension. Much like a great painting, novel, or even film, they not only tell a story but also take you along for the ride. On top of all this he has forged himself a unique guitar style that has a heritage in the great modern guitarists (Frisell, Abercrombie, Scofield, Holdsworth) the foundation of the older masters (Jim Hall, Joe Pass) yet is not afraid to move on. There are elements of many styles present, but in the same way that Jazz, Rock, Classical, Afro-Cuban, Calypso and Reggae all contain influences of other styles. In the end, this is not Jazz.
