The CD: Jambodia Muse offers an intoxicating brew of contemporary beats, sultry samba rhythms and unexpected musical nuances, transitioning across several genres into organic-pop and imparting a new flavor to the World Fusion movement.

Jambodia Muse is the 2nd work in the Jambodia Trilogy, a breakaway musical project from Dr. Z’s “Temple of Digital Dreams.” Works within the Jambodia Trilogy integrate ancient and cultural instruments and numerous genres with the high voltage electronic energy of the digital universe.

The Premise: The Jambodia Trilogy is an energetic musical journey within the imaginary and mystical kingdom of Jambodia, a place where the conventional boundaries of musical and artistic expression do not exist. Here, the exotic sounds and rhythms of ancient cultures blend and coexist with modern and vibrant electronic rhythms to bring about an entirely new sound that is grounded in the distant past.

The Artist Composer: Dr. Von Zuko is a bit of an enigma even to those relatively few people who believe they know him quite well. Frequently characterized as reclusive, the strange doctor has been known to spend days-on-end locked away in his "Temple of Digital Dreams." In the sanctity of this mysterious (and sound proof) technology laden lair, the doctor invokes the forces of both digital and ancient musical realms and his compositions materialize and emerge.
