VOODOO MACHINE - Pins And Needles

The latest work from Voodoo Machine is here at last. Pins & Needles is a 14-song rock extravaganza which accurately documents how this Vancouver band has grown in a relatively short time span. Besides the obvious technical aspects that go along with having this album actually produced (by Jef Warner), there is a remarkable unveiling of other talents within the band. Guitarist Einar Einarssen has also grown considerably as a player, and these licks on this album are his best to date. The percussion seems to have had a great deal of attention given in it's recording as well, although drummer Chad Butler will give you a funny look and say "not really". Not to take away from his live performance, but I think they sound damn good.

As for the rest of the album, it is jam packed with many of the songs that the band has thrilled locals with for the past year, including Ride and Backseat Jane (which has been around ever since their first gig) and a plethora of others.
