Album Notes

VoodooCourt is a power trio performing surf-rock instrumental tunes.

Mark Kuhn carries the flow with reverb guitar taken from the roots of instrumental surf up to modern day grunge energy levels.

There are many twists and added bits of musical flavor throughout, including the Theremen, that etherial instrument of the past.

Recent explorations include sounds resembling vocals (Run From the Blast).

Drum beats require MUCH caffeine intake to duplicate, so don't even try it.

The bassist that just won't quit, Ace Montgomery, aka "Bones," appears in many forms throughout the bands history, performing successfully as the "go-go" queen in the "Electric Beach" era.

Great for road trips, or dig out the blacklight trips. Whoah.

Fun Music, take some in.

Awesome Surf Album! Perfect On The Road!
author: Alex Hoffman
Voodoo Court's Nuclear Vacation is exactly what it says. An vacation NUKED with RADIOACTIVE Surf Tunes! There are many infectious songs on this release, which include the pulsating "Hydrogen Highway", the vibrating, twangy "I'm Your Super Nuclear Lover", the natural and clean "Gamma Ray on a Summer's Day", the tranquil "For the Love of Nepunium", the easygoing yet playful "Holocost 2012", the erratic "On the Beach", and the very special treat of the upbeat vocal "Run From The Blast". Voodoo Court has succeeded in creating a truly awesome radioactive trip. To quote from their single vocal Run the Blast, "Come ride with us or else your toast! It's your final warning!"
