Album Notes

\"This Burning Hell\" is the Voodoo Organist\'s 5th cd, and his second to feature live drums. It was recorded and mixed in a blistering 18 hours in Detroit at Tempermill Studios. It his most dynamic and accomplished yet, with 13 songs that range from post-punk organ raves ups to dirty blues pieces; gothic waltzes to industrial gospels; drunken mambos to even a Beethoven song. Lyrically this is his most personal record yet, singing songs of sin and salvation, lust and love, drinking and drugs, and of course, the devil.

The Voodoo Organist has spent the last 5 years touring full time, playing well over 500 shows all across the country. Wexton does his own booking and press, and he has received over 100 press articles in newspapers, magazines and online. His songs have been used in indie horror movies such as \"Return of the Living Dead IV\" and \"Die You Zombie Bastards.\" He has shared the stage with many great acts, including Th\' Legendary Shack Shakers, Bob Log III, Black Heart Procession, Hasil Adkins and Jucifer. For the first 3 years he toured as a solo act, but now tours with Robin Kennon on drums and junk percussion. What was once a one man house band in Satan\'s Tiki lounge is now a 2 man army of darkness that will steer your conga line straight to Hell.
