Album Notes

This is Junior "One Blood" Reid and Voice Of Progress first album.It was recorded in the early eighties for producer Robert Palmer for his Negus Roots label. "Mini Bus Driver" was their first big hit and it topped the reggae charts in England.The unique style of a young Junior Reid is evident in this roots classic. Junior Reid would later lead the famous Reggae super group Black Uhuru of Sly 'N Robbie Taxi fame.Musicians who worked on this project includes, Sly 'N Robbie, Ansel Collins, Robbie Lynn, Ranchie McClean, Dougie Bryan, Sky juice and the famous Gladiators band.
