‘Voices of Praise’ was started in October 2000 by Delmark Joseph as a small praise team at the First Wesleyan Church in Brooklyn, consisting of four members with a passion to lift up their voices in song, that God may be glorified and his people edified. Although their songs were not original, their style certainly was. As a result, VOP has been called to minister at various churches in the Tri-State area and has sung backup for Alvin Slaughter and Marvin Sapp. ‘Voices of Praise’ is now an ensemble of six singers from various churches whose passion remains the same. With an original style and now original songs such as “Free” and “Owe it All”, the group continues to sing under an anointing that ushers in the presence of the Lord.

What an annointed group of young people. Their songs on the demo 'Free' and "Give Him Your Life' really gives you no choice, you must worship. The I truly enjoyed listening to the demo. I constantly have it on repeat. I am looking forward to seeing them live.

One of the best demos I have ever heard

I must say that this is a great demo. I have never heard a demo quite like this one. The quality was great. The songs were great. The whole presentation was great. The first song grabbed my attention immediately. The words really put me in the mood of worship. The melody was also very catchy. As the song went on, I was completely floored by the harmony. I heard this song before, but not quite like this. The performance was great. The second song was not as catchy, but the words really spoke to me. After listening to it a few times, the melody really grew on me. The third track was sooooooooo amazing. It is really soothing and relaxing. It is also a well constructed solo. As a musician, I am very impressed with the performance. I connot stop listening to this cd. Along with Israel and New Breed and Richard Smallwood, I have this cd on repeat.
